* I cannot believe "X" did not choose me for a second date!

Good afternoon Gail, First of all thank you for a wonderful time last night. The event was your best one yet, including the food! Thank you for the matches. Gail I feel humiliated. I cannot believe "X" did not choose me for a second date. I even complimented her on her red dress, and earrings. She had smooth skin too. This is one of the reasons why sometimes I think I am too nice to people, and feel unappreciated. I thought we had something great going in conversation. Perhaps she was turned off by the fact that I reside fairly far away from her?  Not to beg but maybe she will give me a second thought? I forgot to hug you to say thank you before I left,  so I owe  you a hug the next time I attend one of your events, thank you again,  regards, "P"Hi "P"I understand how you feel- but one should NEVER feel "humiliated" Don't waste your time move on quickly.WE all have been there... I have picked the best looking guy in the bunch- THOUGHT he was flirting back- great conversation yet he did not pick me. WHY? perhaps he found someone else there more attractive .Does that bother me? Not really.. because I know other DO find me attractive.AND ... why go for the most attractive in the place anyway? Too much "maintenance" in my book! I would rather go for the average with the fun winning personality that won't be picked by everyone else!Try your best not to take any reject personally. Everyone has choices. Your day will come.WHEN? who knows.. but why not have fun while you are waiting for your day to come?PS: being "too nice"" is  not the problem. Women like strong men but not MEAN men. If you feel "unappreciated"  you must ask YOURSELF why....a GIFT of being either generous or kind should not have "strings" attached. Gifts should be given from the heart- with nothing excepted in return. If you feel you are "giving" too much... then that is something you can correct. But you can not control how others give to you.Hope that helps.PS: every event is different. Different people, places, moods, energy..some nights are more successful then others. But I like to think as long as you had FUN it was never a waste.____________________________________________________________________SO what's your thoughts? Is being too NICE the issue? Having confidence in yourself and 'Raising the BAR' is great when it comes to standards but is it too high? out of your league? All the best on your quest!,Gail Opinions? Comments?
